Five Actors - A Failure

Ininland, is a curatorial project I devised with the other members of Inland Studios. In keeping with the theme of the mise en abyme I intended to create a work named 'Five Actors' with the image on the left describing the event.
The idea was to have five actors occupy the space for half an hour playing the roles of artists attempting to devise a work for the space. The piece was an experiment and I hoped this unscripted act would provoke dialogue around what constitutes playing something and being something.
In the day leading up to the performance FOUR of the actors intended to participate for one reason or another were unable to make the event. Therefore the work was scrapped and in it's place I performed a solo homage to the peice where I wrote and spoke the words
