A twofer by Benji Jeffrey and Hannah Walton featuring rhinestone hats for fictional one-hit-wonders and sequin frames for glass animals and spaces encountered in dreams. Accompanied by a Justine Melford-Colegate text which is most definitely n̶o̶t̶ ̶a̶ ̶p̶r̶e̶s̶s̶ ̶r̶e̶l̶e̶a̶s̶e̶. This text was recorded and paired with a soundtrack composed by me and played into the bathroom. This was then performed at the opening accompanied by me on the autoharp and Hannah on the bass.

Baroque Intent (When you know, you know, you know? When you see, you see, you see? When you feel it, can you feel it? {Mum says it looks like a dragon}) (2024) was subsequently exhibited at Gasleak Mountain in Nottingham as part of Portals (2024), a group exhibition of artworks by queer artists across the UK, working in a range of different mediums, exploring themes of utopias, queer world building and ‘delusional’ futures.
